A design team in Japan has created what they believe to be the first 3D printed road bike, the DFM01 Ouisa. While 3D printing has been used in some aspects of manufacture for a while now, the DFM01 Ouisa takes the technology to a new level and demonstrates how such technology might be used to more easily customise bikes for individual riders at the point of manufacture.
