Dahon Showcase Teledon C8 Folding Carbon Road Bike At China Cycle
The Telodon C8 AXS – a performance folding carbon road bike – was one of the more impressive new releases on show at the recent China Cycle, the world’s biggest bike industry trade show.
Featuring a lightweight carbon frame with unique top tube locking system, the bike is one of Dahon’s latest releases as they celebrate 40 years of folding bike production.
A Dahon representative demonstrated the Teledon C8 to Ride On with highlights being around 20-seconds set-up time as seen in the video below.
The C8 features a low overall weight of 8.1kg and a surprisingly rigid bottom bracket due to Dahon’s ‘Deltech’ cable down tube replacement.

The bike features Dahon’s ‘Falcon Carbon Fiber Frame’ along with a carbon front fork and lightweight carbon 24-inch wheelset. Finishing equipment rivals many mid-range roadbikes, with a SRAM AXS 12-speed 2 x groupset, Fizik saddle and carbon drop bars.
A Dahon rep told Ride On the bike is perfect for a rider looking for a lightweight and portable travel solution to take around the world. “It’s fast, light, rigid and an efficient bike to ride,” he told us.
