I think electric bikes have a future in cycling as long as they are ridden within the law, e.g., disengaged when riding on shared paths.
The growth in popularity of e-bikes is bringing with it a few problems for users of shared pathways. The speed of these machines when ridden irresponsibly makes thenm dangerous to walkers and other cyclists. E-bike rider – more care please..
