World’s First DJI-Powered E-Gravel Bike To Debut In Australia

The future of gravel cycling arrives next week with the global debut of the Paprika 53 Model 25 GT, the world’s first DJI-powered e-gravel bike, set to launch in Sydney on May 3.
Following its online reveal in April, the Model 25 GT is already turning heads for its bold engineering, unique design and apparent performance. In addition, ride management flows through an integrated full colour OLED control display and the cockpit is stripped of mechanical cables, offering a clean, distraction-free interface between rider and machine.
Much like the Amflow e-MTB Ride On have recently reviewed, the Paprika is based on DJI’s Avinox 2.8kg drive system. With this small but impressive powerplant, Paprika’s first model, the 25 GT, is said to deliver more than 100 nm or torque and up to 1000 watts of power.
“Australia’s diverse terrain, world-class gravel routes, and passionate cycling community make it the perfect setting for the global debut,” said Susie Liu, founder of Paprika 53. “This bike is built for riders who go further, push harder, and want more from every ride.”

Power Redefined: DJI Avinox Drive System
At the core of the 25 GT is the Avinox system by DJI, the company better known for aerial drone and action camera innovation.
Unique features of the e-Gravel bike include –
- 120Nm of torque
- 1,000W peak power
- 600Wh battery delivering approx.
- 130km of range
- The use of a RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR A2 suspension fork
- RockShox Reverb AXS XPLR dropper
- A Fizik Terra Argo saddle
- A carbon handler bar with 25° of outsweep for comfort and control.
- A ‘Dropline Dip’ in the top tube – said to offer “extra saddle height adjustability and subtle frame flex to take the edge off the chatter before it gets to you”
- Fast charge capability to 75% in just 90 minutes
- SRAM eTap AXS shifting
- An OLED control display
- No exposed cables
The drivetrain is tuned for climbing and control, not speed. A 38T e-mountain chainring pairs with an 11-50T SRAM Eagle cassette, anchored by Super Boost 157mm spacing – a platform borrowed from mountain biking for maximum drivetrain stability.
