The ProVelo Super League wrapped up its inaugural season in dramatic fashion, with Alli Anderson (Butterfields Ziptrak Racing) showcasing the power of consistency. Meanwhile, Zac Marriage (Butterfields Ziptrak Racing) mirrored his teammate’s success, claiming victory in the final PSL round in South East Queensland.

The Q Tour finale in the Moreton Bay hinterland delivered an exhilarating conclusion to the season.  Alli Anderson surged up the gruelling Campbell’s Pocket climb, vaulting from third to first place on the final stage to secure the general classification. Her back-to-back overall victories in the PSL’s final two stage races cemented a standout season for the South Australian rider.

Following a dominant Stage 2 time trial win, Zac Marriage produced an exceptional climbing display in the Moreton Bay hinterland to claim the overall title. His season-long consistency and relentless determination confirmed his place among the PSL’s most formidable competitors.

Sophie Marr Joins Liv AlUla Jayco Continental Team

Sophie Marr (Praties Cycling Team) made history as the first-ever PSL champion. With her overall victory, Marr not only claimed the title but also earned a Factor Ostra VAM and a coveted contract with the prestigious Liv AlUla Jayco Continental team.

Marr’s dominance throughout the 2025 season was unmistakable, with standout performances across multiple stage races, including an emphatic overall win at the Tour of Tasmania. Her versatility and determination set her apart, solidifying her reputation as one of the brightest talents in women’s cycling.

Jack Ward Earns Coveted Role with Jayco AlUla

Jack Ward (Team Brennan p/b TP32) finished second overall at the Q Tour, amassing enough points to be crowned the first-ever ProVelo Super League champion.

At just 19 years old, Ward has been a revelation, demonstrating remarkable versatility across diverse terrain. His commanding performances in the men’s league earned him both the SumUp Men’s League overall title and the Jayco U23 classification, securing him a Factor Ostro VAM and a stagiaire position with World Tour team Jayco AlUla later this season.

This opportunity marks a significant step forward for Ward, who is widely regarded as a future star of Australian cycling. His rise through the ranks has been nothing short of spectacular, and fans will be eager to follow his progress throughout 2025.
